A thought from Rabbi Avigdor Miller (03/27/2022)

What Does "Kingdom of Priests" Mean?
We have been chosen to be a nation of students, or philosophers, or priests (cohanim); which means that our chief occupation is not in earning a livelihood or in seeking pleasure, but in the study of Hashem's laws and teachings.
The meaning of a "kingdom of priests" is that we are a nation who, like the cohanim, are singled out from the nations to be forever blessed with opportunity, honor, and privilege.
