A thought from Rabbi Avigdor Miller (11/22/2021)

November 22, 2021 | י״ח בְּכִסְלֵו תשפ״ב
Who Is A Hero?
One who can give a punch and doesn’t do it, such as Dovid hamelech (the king). When he was insulted, Dovid said, "Don’t touch him, Hashem told him to curse me!" And because of that incident Dovid became great. Our forefathers were the true heroes. Avraham and Yitzchak and Yaakov were people who learned for the sake of Hashem how to control themselves. And they taught the system to their children and to their followers. – Shemonah Esrai (#267)Subscribe
