Can one candle be lit with another candle?

Regarding the question of whether it is permitted to light one Chanukah candle with another, there are three opinions: 1) Transferring a flame from one candle directly to another is permitted. Using a match or another medium is forbidden. Although the intent is to light another ner, doing so indirectly disgraces the mitzvah. 2) Transferring a flame from one candle to another using a match or another medium is permitted, as long as it will not become extinguished while in transit. 3) Rema rules that one should not transfer at all--even from one candle directly to another. He explains that since there is only one mandatory candle, a person would be automatically transferring from a candle with sanctity to a candle that has a lower level of sanctity. The Achronim disagree about whether, according to his view, one may light an extra candle with another extra candle.
